AVA Spring Meeting 2023- Plymouth

The AVA Spring meeting 2023 will be held at the University of Plymouth on Monday, 17th April 2023 and will include the Annual General Meeting. 


The Keynote address (The Geoffrey J Burton Lecture) will be delivered by Prof. Kathy T. Mullen, McGill University.


The meeting will take place at the Roland Lewinsky Building which is in the centre of University of Plymouth main campus at Drake Circus, PL4 8AA. It is a short walk (approximately 0.4 miles) from Plymouth train station. The Great Western Railway will provide a discounted rate for the conference attendees, further information here. There are regular trains to Plymouth from London and Bristol.

A meeting specific website has been set up and will be updated with more details closer to the meeting.


Registration opens at 10am, with the first talk session starting at 11am. The meeting should end around 5:45, with a drink reception after.

The deadline for abstract submission is Friday, 10th March, 2023.


The abstracts guidelines and the abstract template can be downloaded here. Please remember to indicate whether your preference is for a talk or poster, and who will be presenting. We aim to notify of acceptance within 2-3 weeks.
